Benin & Nigeria moving forward …

There is nothing in the world that comes close to this experience - seeing brothers and sisters in the Lord getting excited about the Gospel and the transformational power it has. Our May training in Benin and Nigeria was an experience like this.

In Porto Novo, Benin we were about 40 leaders and this was their 5th training together. It was a bit stressful for me as I was training the Transformational Development (TD) course the first time alone. But when we are weak - He is strong! The Word of God speaks for itself and no one can stop its power in changing mindsets, hearts and behavior. At the end of the week more than 20 leaders indicated that they want to start training their own and other leaders. 7 of them have now ordered material and some already started - some even in the week we were busy training. We serve an awesome God, who calls His people to obedience and empowers them as they step forward.

In Abuja, Nigeria 19 current and potential facilitators gathered for a time of sharing, encouraging and practicing what we have learned. I am so inspired by these men and woman. And it is amazing to see them grow to mature believers who are every time more and more excited about sharing the Gospel and facilitating others to grow with them.

It was also encouraging to hear how after last years TD training one of the facilitators who is already training others went back to his village and facilitated a process where they themselves got a borehole drilled and a solar pump installed with 2 tanks.

Just because they realised God has given them all they needed to do this together as a community.

Keep on praying for these brave men and woman (brothers and sisters in Christ, family) who are stepping out in faith day by day in very difficult circumstances.

We are celebrating the translation of the Kingdom of God (KoG) material into Afrikaans. The Hausa KoG translation is soon to follow and the translation group already started with How understand the Bible Course 1 (HuB1). HuB2 and HuB3 translation into Yoruba also kicked off in May. God is good!
