Vision
Our goal is to enable local churches to develop a Christ-centred, biblically-based vision to equip members for service and leadership that transforms people and communities holistically in their relationship with God, self, others and the rest of creation. We believe that Christ-centred, holistic transformation is evident when communities love God in obedience to the truth of his Word and experience healing in the relationships with self and others and are motivated by Christ’s love to serve others and carefully manage the earth’s resources for the glory of God and the common good.
Mission
1. To train church leaders and believers and to enable them to train others with resourcs that contain approaches and methods to facilitate the understanding of the Bible (exegesis) and contextually apply it (hermeneutics) and the communication of God’s word. Through these three processes we promote the sound and contexualised use of the biblical message for the holistic growth and maturing of churches and believers.
2. To build the church’s capacity through biblical-truth based transformational development training that leads to holistic, community-owned and sustainable change. The change is reflected in their lives and in the transformation of all four relationships in individuals and families in the church and in society.
3. To provide multipliable and accessible theological and transformational community development training and training materials for a local church-based training approach so that everyone can participate.
